Toolik Information System
All users of Toolik Field Station must be associated with a registered and approved project. Once the project is approved users will then be able to make housing reservations under that project. Project registration and approval is competed through the Toolik Information System, which is accessed through this page.
Project registration and approval is the first stage of the Toolik Information System to be released. Another stage will include a project dashboard which will allow PIs and project coordinators to see and manage all reservations and services requested from TFS in one place, under one system. Some services will include: housing reservations, userday and billing summaries, transportation reservations, shipping and receiving, snowmachine requests, science support requests, EDC equipment requests, GIS requests, lab space assignment information, a TFS job board, and training checklists.
Additional stages of the Toolik Information System will allow PIs and TFS staff to add links to a project's publicly available data, lists and links of publications associated with projects, project images, and spatial data on project plots. All of this information will be searchable for all TFS projects, including spatially based on plot locations. Stay tuned for these exciting developments.
